Garrard has been as "good with the ball" as anyone playing the QB position this season and I would like to think his horrifically bad pass late in the game against the Steelers was a "one-shot deal." Turnovers always are gigantic in the playoffs but nevermoreso against the Patriots. The Jags simply can't turn the ball over at all in order to be in position to pull the upset. One thing I think you can count on...Jacksonville won't be intimidated going up there.

Reggie, you're right. In order to defeat the Patriots, the Jags will need to play the game of their lives. I have no doubt that they can stay with them, but when it gets down to the nitty gritty, the Jags are going to have to make the plays and keep New England from doing so. Turnovers are going to be a huge deciding factor as well. It's going to be a great game to watch and the one that I'm looking forward to most this coming weekend.

If the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to beat New England, there can't be any squandered 18-point leads in the fourth quarter, with both sides of the ball going ice cold for nearly the final third of the game. There can't be costly Garrard interceptions down the stretch, or the suddenly shoddy pass defense that Jacksonville's secondary displayed during the Steelers' big comeback. It's going to take the Jaguars best possible game, and not the 40-minute version we saw Saturday night.

Concentrating just on the wild-card round (because I like to look at it week-to-week after seeing what went down in the prior games)...I think you've got it 100 % right except for maybe the Wash-Sea game. I think the 'Skins will definitely make it much closer...and possibly even steal a win. Seattle hasn't exactly had to turn on the jets for a few weeks now and every game the Redskins have played in recent weeks has been meaningful. They are on quite a roll and we'll see if the emotion from Taylor's death can carry them another week.

You make a great point. The 'Skins are definitely playing with a lot of passion right now. I just don't think they have enough to go on the road and beat a much more experienced team.
