A former first-round pick of the Chicago Bears and currently unemployed, Michael Haynes has turned to delivering award-winning commentary on everything football in exchange for cold, hard cash.

Q: Now Michael, why do you believe Cedric Benson couldn’t find success as a member of the Chicago Bears?

A: Motherf–ker’s lazy.

Ok, so maybe it didn’t go down quite like that and we’re completely unsure of Haynes’ mental capacity, but one thing is for certain — he did put Benson on blast.

Per AOL’s FanHouse, Haynes says, “Cedric has always been lazy. Cedric was lazy when he first got to Chicago, and I guarantee you he is lazy now.”

Continuing the verbal bitch slap, Haynes lends his perspective on Benson’s purported riffs with other Bears players; “It’s the work ethic that a lot of teammates didn’t like.”

There is no doubt that, almost since day one, fans and the media alike have questioned Benson’s heart. To hear that same sentiment echoed from a former teammate does nothing but substantiate why Benson is no longer with the team, wasn’t claimed off waivers, and could be the biggest draft bust in recent memory.
