Someone, please sign Dana Ward up for SportsCenter
Linda Cohn, you’d best watch your back; there’s a new sheriff in town. Her name is Dana Ward and she’s the mildly attractive host of NFL Quick Hitters, a show on YouTube brought to you by the fine people at GamblersTelevision.com.
Today, we spotlight Ward’s take on the 2008 Chicago Bears. Besides being very roboerotic, Ward shows she’s environmentally conscious by recycling used material. You mean, the Bears don’t have a proven quarterback? What! Brian Yurlicker is unhappy with his contract? Girl, you is too much!
To be fair, I did learn a few things from the show. For one, the Bears have a co-offensive coordinator and his name is Rob Turner. That’s eerily similar to Ron Turner, who’d like you to think he was solely responsible for the Bears’ 27th ranked total offense. Also, with Seedrick Benson out of the mix, the Bears will need “Adrian Peterson, Garrett Wolfe and their young slew of backs behind them [to] carry the load.” Hmmm. I wonder if that slew contains anyone else worth mentioning. Nah!
All in all, besides the length of the show contradicting the title, NFL Quick Hitters hits where every other sports show alike misses: the spectacular intro. From the moment it zaps onto the screen, you know that 1979 is going to be a good year.
