Greg Olsen is all about the fumbleruski

by Shea Johnson on Monday 15 September 2008 at 2:56 pm

Through two games, the Bears have committed a low two turnovers — both by tight end Greg Olsen.

It’s clear the man loves the fumbleruski. He’s all about it. He wants to romance it and take it to the back seat of his 1978 TransAm. Yeah, that’s right. And he won’t stop until the early dawn.

Fumbleruski, you don’t have a chance. Once you’ve had Olsen, you can never go back. He’ll make you feel like you’re the only one in the room stadium and isn’t afraid to say “I love you” when other people are watching — whether it be from home or in the flesh.

So next time you feel as if you’d wish Tiki Barber would come out of retirement, remember this, fumbleruski: There’s a new man in town and he can do it better than Tiki can. Greg Olsen LOVES you.

I still can’t believe it. I’m so pissed off. Oh well, if you told me 2 weeks ago we’d be 1-1 at this point, I would’ve been thrilled. Need to beat a Bucs team at home that is incredibly similar to us. Ball control offense, no WR’s(Galloway likely out), solid running game, and great defense.

I’m still a fan of Olsen. One bad day at work doesn’t make you a bad employee, and Olsen’s bad game doesn’t make him a bad TE. He’s got incredible route running skills and a great pair of hands for a TE. In fact, he’s probably the best WR if you line him up in the slot.

Don’t let one game overshadow his talent. Bear down!

Olsen to fumbleruski: I want to kiss you all over and over and again. Till the night closes in…TILL THE NIGHT CLOSES IN

My good friend is a Bears fan so I got to watch this game too. At least it was close, not like say…41-13. Better luck next week.

Olsen will rebound. But fumbleruski won’t. [sigh]
