The woefully dreadful Cincinnati Bengals sign the equally dreadful Cedric Benson Yay!
What more could an 0-4 team want to jumpstart their season than an underachieving recluse with a penchant for alcohol and Sun Chips?
Today, the Cincinnati Bengals furthered the already laughable image of their organization by adding Cedric Benson to their payroll.
Benson was ostensibly cut by the Bears in June after his second alcohol-related arrest, but we all know the real reason was because he sucked. Hard.
Maybe Benson can find new life in Cincy as he takes the roster spot of DeDe Dorsey who is headed to IR. Unbelieveably, he could find himself challenging incumbent Chris Perry for playing time if you consider how awful Perry has been: 2.9 yards per carry and 52 yards per game.
Does anyone want to wager which Bengal will find themselves in trouble first: Benson or wide receiver Chris Henry?
I always thought Benson would end up in stripes, i just thought they’d be black and white.

A great chance to see what tripping over yourself every 2 yards can do for a running game. What a classy organization. If you’re going to get all these criminals on your team, at least get one with talent. Cedric Benson brings the worst attitude I’ve ever seen from an NFL player, no speed, no vision, no blocking, no pass-catching, awful footwork, no heart, and he’s coming off well documented trouble with the law. This is sure to work wonders!

Hah!… Neither. I say Marvin Lewis will be the first Cincy in trouble b/c of all the craziness that’s going on.
