T.J. Houshmandzadeh: “I Kind Of Like Rex Grossman”
T.J. Houshmandzadeh is a cool dude, he went to my high school — albeit years earlier — and he’s got the best last name in pro football. Yesterday, he was on the Waddle and Silvy show on WMVP-AM 1000 talking his future plans.
When asked about potentially coming to Chicago to play, the free agent-to-be didn’t necessarily count it out, but for the most part gave an answer you’d expect of any player on the cusp of a big payday.
“They have to be interested first,” might as well have been “I don’t care who is filling my bank account as long as it’s full.” But he wants to win too, so Chicago probably doesn’t have the inside track.
Houshmandzadeh’s most revealing comment had more to do with his interest in a departing Bear than his interest in arriving.
“You know what’s funny, man? Y’all probably going to laugh at me when I tell you this; I kind of like Rex Grosman. He continued, “I always watched on T.V. how they give Rex Grossman a hard time. I don’t know why. He takes chances, but when those chances pay off, nobody talks about them.”
Speakin’ the truth, T.J. Speakin’ the truth.

Fuck Rex!
TJ will never come to Chicago, this is where receivers go to die, not thrive. “But he wants to win too, so Chicago probably doesn’t have the inside track.” Great line!
Housh is a douche. I kinda like Rex Grossman? That’s like saying I kinda like child molesters. This douche bag also had the nerve to ask Waddle if he knows football! Uh, yeah TJ he played in the NFL. He works for the NFL network, the same network that you do correspondence for. He ain’t worth the money, give me Bouldin.
Association fail.
I would rather have said I kind of like Kordell Stewart.
