Jay Cutler Is A Bears Fan Thus He Will Be Traded To The Bears
After reading David Haugh’s column — big fan by the way — in today’s Tribune, I thought about all the ways one could connect an “up-for-grabs” player to their team of choice.
It’s more of an observation about the swirls of rumors that tend to come about this time of year.
Pro football fans are the utmost optimists in the few months leading up to the draft and drearily pessimistic in the period where actual football is played. I, myself, have gotten caught up in the hype.
While any mention of a player with a Madden score above 80 and the Bears in the same sentence sends me racing over to Pro Football Talk, recent history has taught us, you’re more likely to score a Frank Omiyale than an Osi Umeniyora.
That being said, I hope to God we get Jay Cutler!
