For Only $47, You Could Have Been The Proud Owner Of A Fuzzy, Tracky VHS Of Super Bowl XX
If you ever doubted the surreal powers of Ebay, doubt no longer. An Arlington Heights, Illinois man recently put up a VHS copy of the Bears’ 46-10 thrashing of Tom Brady and the Patriots in Super Bowl XX on the online bidding site and it garnered a whopping $47.
47 dollars? That’s not half bad. Especially considering he started the bid at nine. Hell, this guy might be on to something.
With the economy in the gutter, and work increasingly harder to come by, I think I’ll start digging in my basement for old, dusty Bears tapes as well. I know I have a 2006 Tampa Bay OT loss and the 2005 “Rex Comeback” game versus Atlanta somewhere.
