Orlando Pace: Old Enough To Don This Uniform, But Young Enough To Start? — Blog Down, Chicago Bears

Orlando Pace: Old Enough To Don This Uniform, But Young Enough To Start?

Just when you thought it was over, the Bears have brought ex-Ram and seven-time Pro Bowler, Orlando Pace, in for a look-see. By it, we mean, of course, the free-agent frenzy that never really started.

Pace is 33 and, after enjoying a relatively injury-free career, has had rotator cuff, knee, thigh and quad issues in recent years. Last season, he did start in the 14 games he played in, but the Rams also surrendered 45 sacks.

Still, a healthy Pace would be the early favorite to start at right tackle. It’d be enough to make you ask, “Who’s Frank Omiyale?” For the second time.
