REPORT: Orlando Pace, Bears In Contract Talks

by Shea Johnson on Tuesday 31 March 2009 at 11:03 pm

After a visit which Orlando Pace’s agent Kennard McGuire called “very good and productive,” the Bears are actively trying to come to terms with the future Hall-of-Fame tackle.

The kicker, per the Chicago Tribune, is that Pace would become the team’s starting left tackle, sliding would-be incumbent Chris Williams to the right side.

Suddenly, there is life in Halas Hall. Better late than never.
