It was evident from the beginning that Torry Holt wanted to play for a winner. So, it’s no surprise, really, his choice is… Jacksonville. Really?
Holt was the one free agent wide receiver the Bears would conceivably sign that represented a considerable upgrade to their current corps. And after Jerry Angelo pulled the trigger on the Jay Cutler trade, fans were hopeful he would have enough post-high gall to go get Holt.
If a Cutler throws a ball and there is no one to catch it, did he ever really throw the ball?
