Rex Grossman Still Needs A Job
Nearly three months have passed since the Bears and Rex Grossman parted ways, yet Rex remains unemployed.
It’s unclear if teams are hesitant to hire the oft-maligned veteran because of the sheer velocity of his deep bombs, his unwavering commitment to hitting the man in the flat, or his penchant for DOING VERY, VERY, STUPID THINGS.
Still, the man deserves a back-up job someplace, somewhere. He’s not God-awful, nor is he consistent enough to be great, but he can, under the right circumstances, be more than serviceable.
That said, how awesome would it be if the Seahawks took a flyer on him? Then, newly-acquired receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh could put his “I kind of like Rex” comment to the test.
