Rex Grossman, You’re Unwavering Commitment To Honesty Is Appreciated
If you hadn’t heard, Rex Grossman signed with the Houston Texans. By all accounts–okay, just his account–he’s happy in the system, just glad to compete… yada, yada, yada. But what you might find mind-boggling, as Rex admits, is how “there wasn’t a whole lot of teams to choose from, to be honest.”
Now, now, let’s not roll on Rex too much. I liked the guy, too. But I think he’s a below-average NFL QB, and now that he doesn’t have Urlacher & Co. backing him up, the League is going to find out how below average he really is.
I wish him the best. Do I think he is a great quarterback? No. Do I think he is so bad that he shouldn’t even be able to find a spot as a backup up? No way. I always thought he was hit with bad timing. If he would have had a line and a running game to work around, he may still be in Chi Town.

Its too bad that we couldn’t have put Kyle’s head on Rex’s body because kyle plays smart but rex had the arm!
