The Bears Secondary Wants You!

Well not really, but it would appear that they should just start holding tryouts in the Chicago area. I mean I ‘played’ safety freshman year of high school, why not give me a shot? With the ‘talent’ we are currently throwing out there we might as well start handing out tryout flyers.

The Bears are currently ‘counting on Corey Graham’, who played all of two games at safety in college, and the Great White Hope, Craig Steltz. SON OF A BITCH. Then we’ve got Josh ‘please gain 15 yards before I touch you’ Bullocks at strong safety. Can you imagine what Kurt Warner; Donovan McNabb et al will do against our defense??

Kurt Warner: Ok ‘Quan line up in the slot and run a seam route for the 25th time. Guaranteed six.
Anquan Boldin: Sweet. Fitz, first person to 350 yards goes to the strip club for free.
Larry Fitzgerald: Word.

It’s going to be sweet when Mike Brown finally stays healthy this year for the Chiefs and the Bears are questionable at safety.

Tell me about it. Watch Brown have a injury free season, while the Bears sign guys from the practice squad to play safety.
