Why Your Team Sucks — Blog Down, Chicago Bears

Why Your Team Sucks

by Shea Johnson on Saturday 4 July 2009 at 10:00 am

Every other NFC team that isn’t the Chicago Bears sucks. No other team will hoist the NFC Championship trophy in 2009, or even send one player to the Pro Bowl. In another world, this would go without saying, but since this is not another world, “Why Your Team Sucks” is a new feature that will merely be an excuse to talk shit about the rest of the conference.

Every Tuesday and Thursday for the next eight weeks, we’ll make fun ofprofile one NFC team and indifferent to NFL lines, explain why they won’t win the NFC.

We’ll also be linking each team profile to this original post, found on the nifty sidebar over there —>.

So, consider this your free NFL picks for the day: Bet against every team not the Bears in games where the Bears are the other team. Ultimately, they’re going to lose anyway… in another world.

Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons

Why can no one see that we have traded quarterbacks, players and even Coach Lovie has taken over coaching the defense, but the one thing that has not changed is offensive coach Ron Turner. How long is he (Ron Turner)going to sit up in that sky box watching and coaching the game from there instead of getting down on the field and interacting with the players directly? How long is he (Ron Turner) going to send the running backs directly up the middle into the “pack” instead of off to either side once in awhile? How long is he (Ron Turner) not going to figure out that if we need 3, 6, or 8 yards for a first down, that we don’t run a route with the receiver just beyond the first down marker? The bears have changed everybody and everything BUT Ron Turner!! C’mon now……it is time for a new offensive coach! Plain and simple. Jay Cutler can pass well, if pass calls were sent in to him, but nooooooo, Ron wants to run the ball which is alright, but not on 3rd and 8. I’m just a girl with a view and love the bears, good bad or otherwise, but Ron needs a new job.
