Calen Hanie Solid In Game With All The Broadcast Quality Of Scrambled Porn

Caleb Hanie performed well against Buffalo tonight, going 8-of-11 for 87 yards and one touchdown. Yet, you couldn’t help but to feel guilty and somewhat slimy watching what became FOX Chicago’s very pixelated rendition of the entire third quarter.

No, the FOX broadcast here in Chicago wasn’t interrupted by an actual porn… I think, but from the start of the third quarter until 13:54 in the fourth, the game was completely unwatchable; the visual and audio both choppy and maddening. Scores of Bears fans–and by scores, I mean a few visitors to the official message board–were beside themselves over FOX’s apparent lack of respect for a Brett Basanez versus Gibran Hamdam preseason face-off.

Look FOX, you audacious asshats, not everybody is making it rain to the extent where they can afford fancy NFL Network, or even clever enough to access the game elsewhere on the Internets (shhh!). When we wait an entire four-and-a-half days to watch Cutler underachieve greatly or for our boy Brandon Rideau to be completely ignored, you better be sure as fuck that you make it clear as the glass any member of our secondary is made of. K thx.

[...] What was up with Fox’s broadcast of the Bears game Saturday night?  I was most pissed about not being able to watch the Cutler interview at halftime.  Get your shit straight Fox. [Blog Down, Chicago Bears] [...]
