Bears Beat Giants, Urlacher Has Hard Time Not Getting In Brandon Jacob’s Way

Second game: much better result. Matt Forte looked every bit of the “fantasy stud” he’s been anointed, carrying nine times for 58 yards and one seemingly effortless touchdown. One of the other team’s running backs did quite well, too … running through Brian Urlacher more than just once; which, understandably, is codeword for twice.

Okay: So, this is that Jay Cutler fella’ you guys have been talking about? The one who makes plays with his arm, feet, and head; Earl Bennett, Kellen Davis, Devin Aromashodu, and Brandon Rideau all had inaugural opportunities because of it. And let me just say, Davis is ridiculously big; size probably not fully realized until you’re able to watch him run with the ball.

I’m loving the way Al Afalava is moving full-speed, full-force into everything on the field wearing an opposing jersey. It’s kind of a reckless play–sure–but, it’s even moreso inspiring and confidence-boosting. Is it safe to say Afalava and Kevin Payne have the starting safety spots locked down? Is Corey Graham delegated to play corner because of injuries, and not have a chance in the outfield, where I believe he would do really, really well?

Any stand outs … stand out to you peoples?

Next is the Broncos in Denver. Ooh! Doesn’t that have a significance or something?
