Except of course when he bit on a fake and let Tony Gonzalez catch an easy TD or of course when he recognized that Roddy White was uncovered and was late getting over, allowing him to score on that long TD. He did honestly look good though, those were just bad plays for the whole defense. I think we are just going to have to deal with the drop off from Urlacher to Roach in terms of recognizing offensive formations and commanding the defense to adjust their coverage. Kyle Orton has looked decent considering he has a great o-line and two pro bowl caliber receivers. I would still take Cutler any day of the week over Orton, no disrespect to Orton. If Cutler had that o-line in Chicago, he would be doing a lot better and Forte wouldn't be getting blasted in the back field. I think everyone would agree that the O-line looked like hot garbage against the Falcons. People can say whatever they want about Forte, but there isn't a back in the league that can overcome defensive tackles waiting in the back field as they get the hand off.
