Now We Have James Marten All To Ourselves
This is a little late, but my apathetic coma just subsided. Yesterday, the Bears cut linebacker Cato June (we hardly knew ye!) and promoted tackle James Marten from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Wait … Isn’t that the same James Marten that the Raiders so inconsiderately swooped from us last year? HA! Take that, Al Davis. Your reign of excellence is over!

Well put, we have some potential here. He played well for Boston College and is acclimated to the league. The moved him up for a reason why not see what he can do. We have nothing to lose at this point in the season – get Cutler some support from the line and see what happens. Go Bears!
He was an early third-round pick, too. SI Draft analysis here. But, why hasn’t he played yet? And why didn’t the Raiders, the Raiders!, want him?
