Jim McMahon Just Wants To Tell It Like It Is

“I told you guys 30 years ago (sic) what an idiot that owner [Michael McCaskey] is, and maybe you guys have finally realized it.” … Soooo you’re saying we might be the new Raiders? But I thought the Raiders were the new Raiders.

In town to shoot a commemorative remake of the Super Bowl Shuffle — Ho-ly shit! Must. Get. Hands. On. That. –in conjunction with the awkward, cult-favorite dance’s 20th 25th anniversary,  the peevish punky QB was asked about the current state of his former team.

On the ongoing “massive change”: “The only massive change they’ll ever have is if they ever sell the team, and that ain’t going to happen. While [McCaskey's] still there, they ain’t going to win.”

On Jay Cutler: “You can’t just rely on your arm; that can get you in trouble.”

On his former teammates Mike Singletary, Ron Rivera and Leslie Frazier: “Why they don’t hire those guys here is beyond me.”

Good point. Why didn’t the Bears hire Ron Rivera to be their next head coach? Is it because they opted, instead, to save some cash and not fire Lovie? Nope. It’s because Michael McCaskey is a big fucking idiot. It’s true because Jimmy Mac said so.
