Dusty Dvoracek Is Immune To Your Bar’s “Rules”

by Shea Johnson on Sunday 17 January 2010 at 2:00 pm

The most injured player of the decade is, indeed, a total douche bag. Exhibit A: He is the most injured player of the decade. Exhibit B: He has uber-original tribal band tattoos on both biceps. Exhibit C: He was arrested in an Oklahoma bar last night for getting overly inebriated and then responding to orders to leave the premises by hitting a member of security. So … you’re not leaving, then?

Dvoracek, who through some matrix loophole is still a member of the Bears, was occupying Seven47, a bar in Norman, when security asked an intoxicated Dvoracek to get out. Dvoracek allegedly struck a member of the security team and things got all “Roadhouse” from there. Okay, not really.

“Our security was simply just doing their job and Dusty just kind of freaked out,” [general manager Hunter] Mankin said. “Our security would never provoke. I think Dusty’s temper got out of hand.”

Dvoracek is formally being charged with public intoxication, assault and battery, interfering with an official process, and wasting everybody’s time for the last four years.

I can only assume he tore a hamstring and his MCL during the fracas. Didn’t he have something similar to this happen in college as well? I seem to remember he “quit drinking” because of it. Just like Briggs and Alfalfa.
