Because Mark Anderson is supposedly ready to handle the full-time defensive end gig and, you know, not completely fall to pieces this time,
We read through the InterWebs everyday. Some of what we read is Bears related. Some of that Bears-related material is completely, ridiculously stupid. And some of that, we’d like to share with you. This is a new feature.

OK, is this really happening?? Does this have any traction at all besides the ESPN rumor mill? (ZOMG!) I’m not surprised in the least that T.O. wants out of Buffalo, nor should you. I was/am very surprised about the Bears being in the mix. Given the very recent history of the Bears acquiring big-name talent (Cutler, Pace) it’s not totally shocking, but I definitely wasn’t expecting to see that yesterday. More than my surprise at the rumors that are swirling around, I don’t like the trade possibility. The Bears are humming along at 3-1 and have some decent momentum going into two very tough road games. The offense is slowly starting to click and the thought of bringing in a big name player mid-season isn’t something I’d like to see.
Seriously???? Is this happening yet again?!?! The Bears continue the tradition of partnering with
….or they should. Call me crazy but as recently as a few years back it seemed like every fourth player on the Bears roster was from Oklahoma (Tommie Harris, Marc Bradley, Dusty Dvoracek, J.D. Runnels and now Juaquin Iglesias). Along with those Sooners, the Bears have tapped into perennial SEC doormat Vanderbilt in the past two drafts (Earl Bennett, Chris Williams, D.J. Moore). We’re not including Cutler here because Denver had the privilege of drafting him.
Brandon Marshall. Jay Cutler. Trade. Pat Bowlen. Will The Bears Sign A Wide Receiver? Okay, now that we’re fully SEO optimized: Jay Cutler obviously likes what Brandon Marshall is bringing to the table, but his ambitious compliment to the absurdly off-center wide receiver might be a little much.
