Bears Vs. Lions Preview And Game Thread
This is the last game of the season; something to check in on occasionally as you await the start of a crucial offseason. And don’t be scuurred, Danieal Manning, you’ll be protected by Tommie Harris as long as he may continue to, uh, by the looks of it, put the ball anywhere he wants to. (more…)

Sorry to disappoint, ladies and gents, but the Bears have as good of a chance at winning as that bear does as getting down alive. I’m not going to be drawn-out or overdramatic about the game, because we all know what the end result will be. This preview will be short and sweet:
The last post of the week; something to ponder as you await the certain couch slouch and booze binge of the weekend.

Despite the last two steaming piles the Bears have laid down, the division is still very much in reach if Aaron Rodgers and company can beat Minnesota this weekend. I’m of course assuming one thing: that our Bears can manage to suck just a little less than the really, really sucky Browns on Sunday.
The Bears (5-4) head up to Lambeau Field to take on QB Aaron Rodgers and the Packers (4-5) in this year’s first installment of the best rivalry in football. A Bears win guarantees they’ll keep, at least, a share of the division lead.
NFL’s third-ranked ground attack, meet the NFL’s sixth best against it. Something has to give. Other than the head of Andrew Gurode from the force of Albert Haynesworth’s size 14 cleat.
You could say this Sunday’s game versus Detroit has all the makings of a trap game if the Bears aren’t careful. Luckily, if anyone on the team has Internet access, they were warned
Bernard Berrian has 42 million reasons to be THIS happy about being a Viking. And the Bears have 25 million reasons to be excited about the prospect of shutting him down tomorrow. If only they had the cornerbacks to do so.
Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan — seen here sort of smiling –won’t find any joy in the tons of pressure he is gonna face this Sunday when the Bears hit the road to face Atlanta.
Take a good look at the photograph to your right. Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think so?
If the Bears continue the trend of the last two weeks, they’ll absolutely stomp Donovan McNabb and his Eagles counterparts into submission and the score will show it. That is until the fourth quarter when the Bears defense implodes and the Eagles sneak away with a late-minute win.
