Bears Continue To Shamelessly Sell Out

Seriously???? Is this happening yet again?!?! The Bears continue the tradition of partnering with sponsors local businesses. They have decided to plaster North Shore Hospital all over their practice jerseys. Does this burn anyone else like it does with me? I know I know, it’s an archaic viewpoint but hear me out. (more…)

Bears Not Amused Over City Tax Levied Against Season Ticket Holders

If you’re an original Bears season ticket holder, go you. But, if you’re a Bears season ticket holder who received said tickets via a transfer from an original owner–eh, not so much.

And not like it’s your fault or anything, but you’re being charged a nine percent amusement tax by the city of Chicago, despite the fact the tax is already included in the face value of the tickets.

Double-jeopardy? Some fans think so, and the Bears are prepared to take it up with Richard M. Daley.

Week 8 preview, the slight slump of Matt Forte, and the sack-lacking defense

Bernard Berrian has 42 million reasons to be THIS happy about being a Viking. And the Bears have 25 million reasons to be excited about the prospect of shutting him down tomorrow. If only they had the cornerbacks to do so.

In case you missed it, Berrian received a six-year, $42 million deal to sign with the Vikes in the offseason and subsequently turned down a five-year $25 million offer to remain with the Bears. Oh and also, the Bears secondary is really banged up. (more…)
