Bears Continue To Shamelessly Sell Out

by Matt Phillip on Wednesday 22 July 2009 at 6:00 pm

Seriously???? Is this happening yet again?!?! The Bears continue the tradition of partnering with sponsors local businesses. Leonard Peters Is Too Wild For The NFL

by Shea Johnson on Tuesday 21 July 2009 at 8:45 pm

Leonard Peters spent last year on the Bears practice squad, but for whatever reason–I’ll go out on a limb, and guess coverage issues–it didn’t pan out. Runnels and now Juaquin Iglesias). Along with those Sooners, the Bears have tapped into perennial SEC doormat Vanderbilt in the past two drafts (Earl Bennett, Chris Williams, D.J. Moore). We’re not including Cutler here because Denver had the privilege of drafting him.
Looking at what the Bears needs will be starting this year, and looking into the very near future, starting a draft pipeline via Texas makes the most sense to me. (more…)
