Reviewing The 2006 NFL Draft Of NFC North Teams

by Shea Johnson on Friday 11 June 2010 at 12:30 pm

So, how did these drafts work out? Fansided blog NFL Mocks did the review, and it went remarkably well for the Packers and Vikings. The Lions? Not so much. Their grade of C+ for a Bears draft which landed us Devin Hester, Danieal Manning, Mark Anderson, some other guys, and this douche to your left is somewhat generous, no?

Cool Josh Moore: Under Contract Now

by Shea Johnson on Tuesday 18 May 2010 at 3:15 pm

Here is Josh Moore executing, my personal favorite, the “oh? you’re taking my photo while I slyly look at something over there” pose. The fifth-round pick is the second Bears draft selection in three days to sign a deal. Now, here’s a nice highlight video of Moore that, to no fault of his own, may make you fall asleep at your cubicle. Rest easy, my babies. (more…)

Bears Reach Four-Year Deal With Emerging YouTube Star, J’Marcus Webb

by Shea Johnson on Monday 17 May 2010 at 12:15 pm

When J’Marcus Webb isn’t accidentally chipping offensive line coach Mike Tice’s tooth, you can catch him on his YouTube channel talking about…well, chipping Mike Tice’s tooth (he jokingly blames it on Tice for talking shhh). So far, not on his channel: Webb signing his new, four-year contract. Whut It Do! (more…)

Michael Bay Earns Extra Money By Producing Behind-The-Scenes Of The NFL Draft Videos

by Shea Johnson on Tuesday 27 April 2010 at 8:00 am

If Michael Bay was, at all, interested in the NFL, we imagine that this behind-the-scenes video of the Chicago Bears war room would be something similar to his creation. Except, with smaller explosions. (more…)

Blog Down On The Radio: Our First Radio Interview Spec-tacle

by Shea Johnson on Monday 26 April 2010 at 3:15 pm

Two decidingly nerdy “uh-huh” laughs, an all too serious-voiced “glad to be here”, and an awkwardly hurried goodbye will not diminish our first-ever appearance on the radio. Nooo, sir. (more…)

by Shea Johnson on Friday 23 April 2010 at 6:00 am

Day Two in this wildly entertaining NFL Draft is mercifully here, Bears fans. Depending on the time you’re reading this, I’m either nervously prepping for an interview on, what I believe is, 91.5 WBEZ in Chicago (11:30 a.m.); nervously in the middle of an interview on 91.5 WBEZ; or coming down from the aftermath of what was inevitably a nervous and awkward interview…I think you get it.
