Basically, any coach that was considered to be qualified — minus Tice — for any of the vacant Bears coaching positions, has been turned away. The Bears weren’t “blown away” by Chargers tight end coach Rod Chudzinski and now Marvin Lewis isn’t allowing quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese 



Well, that will take a little suspense out of the upcoming offseason. CSN’s John Mullin was just on Chicago Tribune Live and it appears, according to his “pretty high-up sources”, Lovie Smith will indeed be coming back to coach the Bears next year. Sigh. Surely, more to come …
