I don’t buy it, and I hope it’s not true. The Pats have never tried to heavily feature the tight end in their offense, so I can’t see why they would give up their draft picks to start now. While I’m actually ok with trading Olsen if we get a good deal for him, I don’t think trading with New England is a good idea. I don’t remember them ending up on the bad side of too many deals in recent years.

It would be a shame if Olsen joined the Bears’ “Subtraction by Subtraction” personnel movement program. It might behoove someone in charge (Jerry? Lovie?) to work with Mr. Martz and convince him that talented players should, in fact, stay on the team.
